Municipal General Election – Hideout Residents, Make Your Voice Heard!

The Municipal General Election is coming up on Tuesday, November 4, 2025! This is your opportunity to help shape the future of our community.

Who Can Vote?

This election is open to all full-time Hideout residents who are registered and eligible to vote.

A full-time resident is someone who lives in Hideout as their primary residence (not a part-time or seasonal home). Under Utah Code § 20A-2-101, you must also meet these requirements:

  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day
  • Be a resident of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election
  • Not be a convicted felon whose right to vote has not been restored

Ballot Information

  • Ballots will be mailed beginning October 14, 2025 to all registered voters.
  • Check or update your voter registration status at vote.utah.gov

Meet the Candidates Night

The League of Women Voters will be hosting a Town Council and Mayoral Candidate Forum:

  • When: Tuesday, September 30, 2025
  • Where: Summit County Library, Kamas Valley Branch
    110 N Main St, Kamas, UT 84036
  • Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The forum will include a candidate meet and greet, followed by a moderated panel discussion. This event is intended to give Hideout voters the opportunity to meet candidates and hear their positions on issues that matter most to our community.

Tentative Schedule:

5:45 – 6:00 | Candidate Check-In & Table Set-Up
6:00 – 6:30 | Meet the Candidates
6:30 – 6:45 | Candidate Opening Remarks (about 2 minutes each)
6:45 – 7:45 | Moderated Panel Discussion
7:45 – 8:00 | Wrap-Up & Close
