Notice of Planning Commission and Town Council Public Hearing Meetings

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hideout Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm, for the following purposes:

  1. Consideration and possible recommendation to the Hideout Town Council regarding a proposal from Rocky Mountain Power regarding the Wildfire Mitigation Project, which would rebuild existing 46kV transmission lines; and 
  2. Discussion and possible recommendation to the Hideout Town Council of an Ordinance regarding updates related to subdivision procedures pursuant to Senate Bill 174 (2023) and House Bill 476 (2024), including technical corrections, and amendments to Hideout Municipal Code Titles 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13; and
  3. Discussion and possible recommendation regarding an amendment of the Official Town of Hideout Zoning Map to rezone parcel 00-0020-8164 (Wildhorse Development) from Mountain (M) zone to Neighborhood Mixed Use (NMU). This development is located on the northern side of SR-248, between the Woolf property and the Klaim Subdivision. 

Upon making a recommendation of any or all of the above items, public notice is hereby given that the Hideout Town Council will hold a subsequent Public Hearing on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 6:00 pm for the following purposes:

  1. Consideration and possible approval of a proposal from Rocky Mountain Power regarding the Wildfire Mitigation Project, which would rebuild existing 46kV transmission lines; and

These meetings will be held electronically via Zoom, and in-person at Hideout Town Hall, located at 10860 N. Hideout Trail, Hideout, Utah, 84036. Public comments are welcome and can be made in person or by dialing or logging into Zoom Conferencing using the following:

Public comments may also be sent via email to hideoututah@hideoututah.gov. All comments will be distributed to the Planning Commission or Town Council and entered into public record. Comments must be received prior 12:00 pm (noon) on the day of the meeting in order to be considered.
