PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that during the regular Town Council Meeting of February 10, 2022, the Hideout Town Council adopted Ordinance Number 2022-O-02, adopting Title 2 Chapter 2.06 – Transient Room Tax. This Ordinance allows Hideout to impose a tax known as the transient room tax of up to 1% on charges for amounts paid or charged for a tourist home, hotel, motel, or trailer court accommodations and services that are regularly rented for less than thirty (30) consecutive days.
