Several residents have called to ask about the increase in traffic on Longview Drive at the south end of Hideout. That traffic is due to the construction efforts that are supporting the development activities on land that is outside Hideout borders. 

Longview Drive is a public road, and Hideout receives funds from the State to aid in road maintenance. To that end, we cannot restrict traffic on our streets. We can, however, ensure that the users of our roads comply with our speed limits, parking requirements, etc. 

The developer states that the traffic will continue into May, 2024. Unfortunately this will be an inconvenience for Hideout residents in the short term, but the work will result in a fully paved road to SR248 at the Tuhaye entrance.
